Overview

Ambre hotel is located at Palmar, on the east coast of Mauritius. The resort boasts a 700-metres long white natural sandy beach running along a sheltered bay.

Ambre is set in a tropical, easy-going environment, where island living can be experienced at its best. The adjacent tropical lagoon is a haven for fish and marine life, with many bathing and diving areas.

Whether it is relaxing barefoot at the Beach Bar, enjoying an eclectic mix of design and artwork of the area; or lounging in the spacious accommodation with its fresh feel.

Facilities

Location:	Located at Palmar, on the east coast of Mauritius.
Transfer Time:	Approximately 1 hour drive from the International Airport.
Rooms/Suites:	297- consisting of 100 Standard rooms, 178 Superior rooms, 17 Family Units, 2 Suites.
Restaurants/Bars:	4 – including Dolce Vita with emphasis on homemade antipasti and pastas, pizzas and grill specialties. Colourful and casual, white washed wooden panelling gives a sense of freshness to the restaurant. La Plage, is the resort’s beach restaurant The casual atmosphere is enhanced by a selection of Mediterranean and Mauritian authentic specialties. Coral Bar offers an exciting array of juices, exotic cocktails, full coffee range and snacks among others. This area comes alive in the evening, with shows, DJ’s and a dance floor.
Water Activities:	Swimming pool, Kayaks, laser sails, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, wind-surfing, fun boat, aqua gym classes, water polo, volley polo, basket polo, Scuba diving (PADI open-water courses available with an additional fee)
Land Activities:	Two floodlit tennis courts, aerobics, steps, yoga, badminton, bocce ball, frisbee, jogging, volleyball, beach volley, table tennis. The fitness centre, with its full range of cardio and body toning equipment, Ambre guests have a preferential access to Le Touessrok Golf Club, (A complimentary shuttle service from the resort to Le Touessrok Golf) Club is available.
Spa/Beauty Services:	Spa, a dedicated team of therapists deliver a selection of massages. Personalised packages are available, under the guidance of experienced therapists. A Beauty Parlour is also available.
Children:	The Sun Kids club (4-11 year olds) Sun Generation Club (12-17 year olds).
