Itinerary
Day One
Fly to Toronto, on the shore of Lake Ontario, and transfer to your hotel.
Day Two
Our optional two-hour walking tour provides an excellent introduction to Toronto. See many of the city's main sights, ranging from the impressive waterfront of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower to the Financial District and Chinatown.
Day Three
Enjoy all the magic of this wonderful city at your own pace. Shop along fashionable Queen Street, in the renowned Eaton Centre, and on Yonge - the longest street in the world.
Day Four
Spend today relaxing, or join our optional excursion to discover Market Day in a Canada unlike any other, once settled by the Pennsylvania Dutch, and where many communities still exist without the 'complications' of the modern world. Our destination, St Jacobs, offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of the Mennonites, a selection of delightful shops and even a maple syrup museum.
Day Five
Another full day left free so that you can shop and sightsee at leisure.
Day Six
Today's unforgettable included excursion is to the incredible Niagara Falls, one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Take in the unforgettable views on an optional 10-minute helicopter ride, and perhaps join us for lunch with a view at The Sheraton on the Falls Penthouse Fallsview Dining Room. In the afternoon, we'll return to Toronto Airport to join your flight home.
Day Seven
Arrive back home, after an overnight flight.
Further Information
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted on any coach forming part of your holiday; regular stops will be made though for your comfort en route. The majority of hotels in North America are non-smoking throughout including in all bedrooms. In general smoking outside is acceptable, but do look out for signs prohibiting this close to public entrances or bus stops.
Tipping
Gratuities are a way of life in North America, and it is generally accepted that they form part of a person's earnings. Customary gratuity to a coach driver or tour manager is about $3 per person per day; in a taxi or a restaurant leave 12-15 per cent of the bill and, in the bar, leave a dollar or so per drink.
